I am excited to start this pattern. I love Casey's work in general. I bought the fabric kit she recommended and some Heat n Bond for it. I have not been able to do any raw-edge applique successfully, so I plan to tackle that part first! I plan on having this quilt as a memento of the 250th anniversary of the U.S.

Great ideas for other projects with the same basic pattern. Pattern is well written and easy to understand. A definite make for me before July 4th.

I love the use of the yo-yo. How about adding Hawaiian lei (add a button or spacer in between) and yo-yo quilt.

Casey is always quick to respond and very helpful. I haven't made this pattern yet, but the instructions are good, detailed, heavily illustrated, and with lots of tips for making more projects from the pattern.
